FOR SPECIAL SALE. Semen from BART. CA1FF0006 (pic above) Bart is a beautifully bred son of our foundation sire Ginger Meggs out of a lovely Terraweena doe originating from the Karbo Lawrence line. His semen was also sent to Nepal, and Bart is also in the Buck Trial at Colin Ramsay's stud in NSW. Bart has been used extensively at this stud and has bred stock with outstanding growth rates, correctness, and stamina. Bart is a big framed buck with excellent legs and feet (that never need trimming). In the buck trial 90% of his progeny had correct teat structure. Much higher than any of the other bucks. While Bart is very good natured, he doesn't really know how to sit still. He is always first to the gate, and walks faster than all the other bucks down the laneway to the sheds....a distance of about 1k. Bart is big and tough. Given the right circumstances, I think Bart might even take on a big old feral Billy. While a youngster Bart was 4th in his class at the Australian National Show, and he was first in his class at Melbourne Show. So he is not bad on the eye either.
Also, some of Bart's progeny are available for sale. Commercial bucks $330 Registered bucks from $550.
Above is an untouched picture of one of Bart's sons CA1FG0025. He is a ripper meaty buck. We did offer him for sale previously (see him in a picture to the right) but no one took up the offer. We are currently using him in our own breeding program now so he is no longer for sale. This buck is paddock raised, has never had his feet trimmed, and had to grow the hard way in with dozens of other bucks. Just look at the strength of his head....it tells you everything about his meat carrying ability. Other Bart sons are for sale and they are all vigorous strong bucks. See examples of them in pic on the right. Commercial bucks $330 (not registered). Registered bucks from $550
Boer goats for sale. Beautiful Boer Bucks and does for sale.

Feet are not usually trimmed until the goats are at least 18 months of age and some genetic lines of animals never need foot trimming. Both bucks and does have been classified under the South African classification system by ClassiMate, and performance recorded under the Kidplan system. Individual details of animals available upon request.

Our selling policy and guarantee of our breeding stock
We sell high quality breeding goats and guarantee the fertility of our animals. While we really like to hear the goats become part of the family and are highly valued and looked after, we do not sell goats on the basis of entertainment. We have found the pet model is not a good indicator of a successful outcome for the goats. To give buyers and the goats the best chance of a successful outcome we will ask certain questions to be sure the buyer knows what is required to have a good experience with the goats. These questions will focus on: The type of property and feed available, shelter available, fencing, level of supervision of stock, specially for kidding, and predator control. Goats are not available for tethering...this is an animal welfare issue, one goat on its own is not appropriate as they need a companion to be happy. We want you to be successful in breeding your goats and we will support you in the process.

CURRENT BUCKS FOR SALE
FOR SPECIAL SALE . BARNEY CA1FF0058. (Pics above) SOLD Barney has been used at stud here at Cadenza and his semen has been sent to Nepal. His semen was also used in the current Breeders Buck Trial at Colin Ramsay's property at Cootamundra NSW. Barney is a son of Rocky (see details of sires) out of a lovely Amani doe. He gets his length from Rocky and his width from the Amani lines. Barney is an absolute gentleman, quiet, good natured and a very easy doing buck. We will retain semen from Barney for our own breeding program. He has not been washed or trimmed in any way for these photos. He is ideal for a well managed farmed meat enterprise. He probably does not have the temperament to "bash up" feral bucks. PRICE $1800 plus GST Semen also available $50 straw plus GST

Thinking about joining your does. Does come into "season" as the days are getting shorter. They are not as likely to cycle as the days start to get longer. So carefully choose your kidding time when the conditions are warm and you are available to supervise the does. Gestation period is approximately five months from buck service. We have available a number of good quality yearling Boer bucks from some of Australias best sires. Some are classified as commercial bucks and these are sold without registration. Others are classified as Stud bucks and these are registered with the Boer Goat Breeders Association of Australia (BGBAA). A small group have been classified as superior show quality bucks. Some of these will be kept for breeding at the Stud and the others will be available for purchase. Some beautiful bucks in this group. All bucks are paddock raised and the show quality group will absolutely boom away with show preparation nutrition.
